Thanks to our resort manager / dive instructor Terry O’Dowd for catching this video of a Sea Snake eating a Garden Eel. Quite amazing how quickly it is able to devour the eel!

Sea snakes and countless other incredible sea creatures are in abundance in the water of Puerto Galera. You will be amazed by the quantity and diversity of tropical marine life to been seen while scuba diving here. Congratulations to Ciera Freeburn and Scott Clayton from Ireland, for completing their PADI Open Water course with Scandi Divers instructor Conan Fagen.

They have been backpacking for 2 years all across Asia and Austrailia and decided to end their trip in Puerto Galera, before returning home to Ireland for christmas.

Diving with a Turtle in Big La Laguna Bay – Video

Turtles are regular visitors to Big La Laguna, and one of our favourites. So graceful in the water, they are an absolute pleasure to watch up close.
